Photography

My dad has been teaching me how to take interesting pictures here. Here are some of the pictures I have taken with his tips:

Ernestina. A neighborhood girl. This is my favorite picture I have taken.
Foxxy

A cassava plant.

A moth on our blue screen.

Hoppy

A very colorful grasshopper.

The rain forest at Kakum.

Another picture of Rockwell at Kakum. He's looking for tucans.

Giant milipeede.

A mango tree on our block.

Hoppy again

This is what Ghanians call blackberries, but to find them on the internet you need to type: "black velvet Ghana".

The top of a Latter Day Saint temple: Angel Moroni.

The beach at Beyin Beach Resort.

Lilly pads in a lake. We were on a cannoe in the middle of a lake on our way to Nzulezo, a village on stilts.

Rockwell on the Canopy Walkway at Kakum National Park.

Hot green peppers from our garden.

Red hot peppers from our garden.

A very small worm.

I have had a lot of fun taking these pictures.

  1. WOW!!! These photos look like they belong in a magazine. You are very talented Hannah! Ernestina is beautiful. The photo of the goat standing on posts cracked me up. And I loved the pencil shavings. You'll need to do a slideshow presentation of all your photos when you get home!

  3. Very cool pictures! I love them all! My favorites are Ernestina, the pencil shavings (especially the third one with the different colors), and the ones of Hoppy. Keep taking pictures, Miss Hannah Plantain - you are a wonderful artist!

  4. Awesome pictures, Hannah. Is that really a goat standing on top of a tree?
